Rachel Pally debuts a do-everything dress for Target's Red Hot Shop
Los Angeles-based Rachel Pally has joined Corey Lynn Calter, Lauren Merkin and other hip, just-below-the-radar designers in creating an exclusive item for Target's Red Hot Shop -- an initiative that spotlights cool brands through single-item collaborations.
Pally, who's known for her ultra-comfy jersey dresses and separates, created a plum-hued jersey modal frock for Target that converts in seemingly endless ways.
Wrap it into a halter-neck, strapless or wide-strapped dress -- or sling the entire piece around your waist to create a swingy skirt that, in shape and textile, resembles the cover-ups ballerinas wear off-hours.
The $79.99 dress features a black floral print that reminds me of really luxurious wallpaper (and I mean that in the best possible way).
It's a great go-to dress for dinner-and-drinks; go strapless with the boyfriend and halter it up for a night out dancing with the girls.

$80 on target.com?? Too much in my opinion for Target. You can drop by any of RP's sample sales in downtown LA or hit up samples sale websites to score the real deal for around that price.
