You tell us: Would you wear your wedding dress again?
Heading to the Emmys' gala on Sunday night, I spotted something that I've been looking for for a few months -- a woman wearing a romantic white BCBG Max Azria gown that was included in the wedding gown section of the company's website earlier this year.
In June, I wrote a story for the Image section about affordable wedding gowns from major retailers (the BCBG dress in question seems to be sold out, so I thought it was more helpful to use a photo from that shoot. It shows the J. Crew silk tricotine goddess gown for $475, which is still available online). Many of the gowns can easily be worn after a walk down the aisle or simply bought for a special event that has zip to do with holy matrimony.
And, of course, there are services that can alter or dye your gown so that you can wear that expensive piece of fabric again. Or maybe you want to do what Britney Spears did a few years ago and just want to get your money's worth out of it.
The woman from the other night was several people in front of me, and I didn't have a chance to ask what was the case with her. So I'm asking you all: Have you ever worn your wedding dress again after your wedding? Share the details in the comments section.

My parents were unable to attend our wedding in San Francisco, so they held a reception for us in Niagara Falls, where they lived. We actually went to Niagara Falls on our honeymoon, and I wore my wedding dress to the reception. I also wore it for Halloween a few years later. It felt good to get so much use out of it.

I haven't yet worn my wedding dress again, but I chose it with that goal in mind. I wore the J.Crew "Sophia" dress in ice blue silk tricotine. It's very simple and elegant, and I'm looking forward to wearing it next summer to a special event with new accessories.

I have every intentions of turning my wedding gown into a black cocktail dress after the nuptials. Why spend 1000+ dollars on a dress I'll only wear once?

Yes, as I am the greeter at our Global Conference each year for the past 11 years and since it is held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel each year I thought it would be nice to kick it up a bit…..and trust me since I work for the Milken Institute it was a real surprise to all.
