First Lady Michelle Obama’s quest to get America’s kids eating better seems to be inspiring others to fret over just how healthful those rectangular pizzas served in school cafeterias actually are.

Mega brand Gap has partnered with Feed — the charitable organization founded by Lauren Bush and Ellen Gustafson that’s been successful in getting food to the needy in Africa — on a capsule collection of bags with proceeds benefiting efforts to provide American kids with healthier food choices and education on nutrition in school.

Gap will debut three slouchy shoulder bags emblazoned with ‘FEED USA’ in September — a cream-colored canvas bag with red-and-blue lettering for $29.50 and two blue denim bags (one with a painted outline of the U.S. and the other with simple lettering), for $39.50.

Five dollars from each bag sold will be donated to Feed. And through a partnership with Donors Choose, each bag comes with a six-digit code you’ll be able to key in online to choose the specific school you want your $5 to go to. Seems like a healthy choice to us.
