Anna Paquin’s shoulder-length blond hair was swept up and pulled back by her stylist, Renato Campora, who was inspired by the ‘True Blood’ actress’ Alexander McQueen dress, which he describes as having a “Japanese warrior” look.

“I felt that it was really important for the dress to show off her neck,” says Campora, who started working with Paquin’s hair while it was still wet. He applied Frederic Fekkai Full Blown Volume Styling Whip to her damp hair and dried it a bit by shaking his fingers through it. He ran a curling iron through it to add more texture and twisted pieces up in pin curls where it sat for 15 minutes to dry further. Campora pulled all of Paquin’s hair back from the center of her head and into a French twist that was secured with several bobby pins. A bit of height and a soft wave was created on the top of her head and held into place with Sheer Hold hair spray, also from Fekkai.
