The military trend is only getting stronger for fall, and with that comes a color palette rich with olive green, brown, khaki and tan. If you’re feeling the earthy shades but not necessarily the soldier-inspired garb, then Les Khaki collection from Chanel could be your best beauty find this fall.

The three colors were created in celebration of Fashion’s Night Out by Peter Philips, global creative director of Chanel makeup, and will be available starting Sept. 10. These are variations on khaki and make for an interesting take on the ubiquitous military look happening in fashion.

Though the hues are earthy, they don’t seem drab. Khaki Rose has a pink tinge that makes it feel almost mauve and Khaki Vert is a creamy green that has a hint of gray for a modern twist on green polish.

Make sure not to wear them with clothing of the same color or you’ll be looking more camouflage than chic in Chanel.

Les Khaki collection is $25 a bottle and is to be available at Chanel boutiques and select department stores.

Happy painting.
