In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Cuban-American L.A.-based designer Robert Rodriguez has teamed up with Nordstrom to design a limited-edition top that will be sold exclusively at the department store from Sept. 15 through Oct. 15 (which are the actual dates of Hispanic Heritage Month).

Rodriguez’ shirt, which features a draped silhouette, a black lace overlay and a carnival of feathers jutting off one shoulder, will sell for $225 — with all after-cost proceeds benefiting the Mana’s Hermanitas program, which advocates for Latina adolescents.

The limited-edition tops will be available at 38 Nordstrom stores nationwide (including the store at the Grove in L.A.) and online at nordstrom.com/hhm.

‘I was honored to collaborate,’ said Rodriguez, adding that the look was inspired by Spanish Flamenco dancing. ‘I wanted to create a jersey top that was out of the ordinary, so I adorned it with feathers.’
