Without the vampy red lipstick and hot-rollered Marilyn Monroe curls, Scarlett Johansson is almost unrecognizable on the cover of V magazine‘s ‘Summer Scorcher’ issue -- out today on news stands.

The ‘Iron Man 2’ actress and Dolce & Gabbana spokesperson looks like she popped out of a ‘Charlie’s Angels’ episode in a ‘70s-style off-the-shoulder blouse featuring a berry print and tied-off wrists, paired with big boho-style gold hoop earrings.

It’s been ages since we’ve seen her makeup this light and, well, young-looking (and I can’t recall the last time I saw her photographed without perfectly lined, deeply colored lips). Even more atypical for Johansson is her lion’s mane, Carol Alt-style coif.

Photographed byInez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, the shoot was styled by Joe McKenna. British makeup artist Lisa Butler gave ScarJo the fresh face.
