Relax: Here are some spa treatment ideas for Mother's Day

Earlier this week, we offered up some affordable last-minute Mother's Day gift ideas. Before that, we were a bit more subtle when we devoted last Sunday's Image section to jewelry. But for those still stressing on what to get, our friends at the Hot List offer up a few spa treatment suggestions.

Included on their list is Tikkun Holistic Spa in Santa Monica (pictured above), which writer Sari Heifetz Stricke says lets Mom "choose between a Swedish massage or Detox Facial (60 minutes, $75, regularly $95), a Body Scrub-Swedish Massage-Detox Facial Combo ($195, regularly $255) or the Mother & Daughter Special, featuring a traditional Korean body scrub, oil massage, cucumber facial, shampoo, hair treatment and milk rinse (90 minutes, $250 for two, regularly $320)."

This article reminds me of something I came across the other day on facebook! There is the spa website that is giving away a ton of spa-type stuff for free! It was like a free spray tan and laser-hair removal. Actually let me give you guys the link, this is it:

Since it is a facebook page, I'm pretty sure you have to "become a fan" or "like" the page or something. Just search for "Spaphile," and then add their page and then click on the "sweepstakes" tab. But go ahead and do it quick because I think this might be the last day to enter!
