Top designers get the Disney treatment in Elle Espana magazine

Some of fashion’s top designers boast undeniably cartoonish elements to their personas (paging Donatella Versace). And now we get to see them in all their animated glory.
Elle España (Spain) magazine ran a riotous spread this month in collaboration with Disney artists -- depicting some of fashion’s top dogs as classic Disney characters.
‘La Moda Animada’ shows Karl Lagerfeld as a wolf/dog strutting down the red carpet; Dolce & Gabanna reinvented as a harried dog and mouse pair, poring over fashion sketches; Alber Elbaz as a portly, dandified duck, honing the ruffles of frock; Jean Paul Gaulthier as a duck with a comical patch of white-blond hair, carousing on a Parisian balcony; Donatella Versace as a sexy duck vamping it up for photographers; a sauntering John Galliano duck with long blond hair and pirate-style facial scruff (Captain Hook is nearby); Marc Jacobs as a kilt-wearing duck backstage at a fashion show; and Sonia Rykiel as a love-struck duck batting her eyes at a waiter, her trademark frizzy red hair intact.
