Luxury lingerie purveryor Kiki de Montparnasse isn’t one to broker deals. A simple pair of lace panties from the label can run as high as $195.

But tough times call for deep sales, and the swanky shop is throwing its first-ever sample sale starting this weekend, at both its L.A. and New York locations.

From Saturday, April 3, through Sunday, April 11, the company will host an in-store sample sale, featuring one-of-a-kind and past-season samples, plus items from the brand’s vintage, apothecary and home collections.

Discounts vary, but can run as deep as 75% off retail price. Hours for the L.A. boutique (8280 Melrose Ave.) are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

The brand, which specializes in bridal and special event lingerie, was named for Alice Ernestine Prin, aka Kiki de Montparnasse, a French artist’s model, nightclub singer, actress and painter who helped shape the hyper-bohemian culture of 1920s Paris.
