Watch out for flying fringe this spring. Those thin leather tassels are hanging from handbags, sandals, even earrings this season, evoking a 1970s haute hippie vibe.

Accessories are the best way to wear the trend so they remain a detail and don’t take an outfit into costume territory or make you look like you stuffed your clothes through a paper shredder.
