Now that Lindsay Lohan has been relieved of her post as artistic director at Ungaro, the party girl has some time to focus on her own line, 6126.

The leggings collection is expanding into handbags and a full clothing collection set to hit stores in July. Earlier this week, rumors circulated that Lohan would be collaborating on a bag line with Ed Hardy. But the only connection there is the California Bag Co., the licensee that produces the Ed Hardy bags and, now, 6126. That piece of news came as a giant relief, because the visual that flew through my head upon hearing about a possible collaboration between Lohan and Ed Hardy was truly frightening.

As creative director of 6126, Lohan has tapped designer Paz Shakked Wolf (formerly of Dolce & Gabbana and Tarina Tarantino) to create the bags for the three-year licensing deal with California Bag Co.

And as far as the clothes go -- no word yet on what they’ll look like, but at least she’s thinking about pieces to cover up the top half and pair with the leggings.

Baby steps.
