Celeb stylist Sally Hershberger launches a hair care line on HSN

Celebrity hairdresser Sally Hershberger has launched a new line of styling products exclusively on HSN.
Called Salon by Sally Hershberger, the high-end product line includes five ‘stylers’ (a snappy name for formulations meant to assist in styling) priced from $20 to $24.
There’s Luxe Layers, which is meant to give you a ‘perfect blow dry’ while helping to prevent heat damage; Mineral Spray, which adds texture and helps ‘lift’ layers; Shape Up, a volumizing product; Texture Blast, a bodybuilder; and Smooth Fix, a gloss-intensifying spray that promises to never get greasy.
Hershberger, who shot to fame creating Meg Ryan’s coveted shag haircut in the ‘90s and has worked with nearly every major celebrity since (she regularly cuts the messy coif of Jon Bon Jovi, among others), also has a lower-priced ‘signature’ hair care line, simply called Sally Hershberger, available on her website.
Which makes you kind of scratch your head when you read the hairdresser’s quote in the HSN news release: “As a hair dresser for over 20 years, the products out there just weren’t delivering the results I was looking for,’ she said. ‘Heavy and greasy hair made it very difficult to get incredible styles and maintain the natural movement in the hair.’ Hmm.
