Oliver Peoples releases a romantic online short starring Elijah Wood and Shirley Manson

Oliver Peoples produced a short film “Les Enfants S’ennuiment le Dimanche” (French for ‘the children are bored on Sunday’), directed by photographer Autumn De Wilde, who shot the spring eyewear campaign, starring Elijah Wood, best known as Frodo from ‘The Lord of the Rings’ trilogy, with Garbage singer Shirley Manson. In the movie, released Monday, Fred (a bow-tied Wood) and Ginger (Manson, who looks like Joan from “Mad Men” with a ‘60s bouffant) dance, embrace and play miniature golf in the pool of a sprawling estate (in this case, Silver Lake’s Paramour) to the tune of Zee Avi’s “Just You and Me.”-- Max Padilla
