Kell in L.A.

In last week's Fashion Diary column, I wrote about Kelly Cutrone, the tough-as-nails fashion publicist from MTV's "The Hills" and "The City" who is now becoming a brand in her own right.

Cutrone's reality show, "Kell On Earth," launches Monday night on Bravo, with all the office drama and no-bull bon mots you'd expect in the days leading up to fashion week in the SoHo office of her PR firm, People's Revolution.

Cutrone will be in L.A. to do a reading and book signing Thursday at 7 p.m. at Borders in Westwood. Look for her on the TV talk show rounds too. We hear she's a guest on "The Bonnie Hunt Show" of all things.

Cutrone's book, "If You Have to Cry, Go Outside, And Other Things Your Mother Never Told You" (HarperOne), written with Meredith Bryan, is a fun read with a positive message for young girls -- and info you never knew you needed about crotchless underwear, the benefits of renting versus owning and what to wear to an ashram.
