Fast Mall makes sure you don’t get lost while shopping

Tired of trying to find the Cinnabon in your local mall by having to sniff it out? The Fast Mall application will make sure you get there without having to use your nose – just your iPhone.

There’s no cellphone service required for this app to work, so even if your reception is spotty while strolling your favorite shops, this thing still gets you to the sale at Victoria’s Secret or to American Eagle Outfitters for some tight, preppy polos with no problem.

It also gives you turn-by-turn directions to the nearest restrooms and elevators, so you can strategically plan out your bathroom breaks in between shopping and sipping Ice Blendeds (I’m sure this will tell you where the Coffee Bean counter is too).

Probably the most useful feature to this app is the parking finder that brings you right back to where you parked – no more having to write P3/blue on your hand anymore. This thing also notifies you about sales and promotions going on in the mall you’re in.

As someone without an iPhone, I’ll still be relying on the large color-coded mall directory and the actual people at the information kiosk to tell me where I’m going.

For the more tech-advanced mall-goer, the Fast Mall app is a free download for the iPhone.

I got this app on my phone about 3 weeks ago and i have to say since im a constant shopper, its become my best shopping buddy, it shows me all the deals that are going on, in which stores,and in what malls, turn by turn navigation,virtual mall maps, remembers my parking spot, and so much more that it has to offer, and its FREE! you can't get better than that! must have and recommended to all my girlfriends, can't wait to see what other things they might add, cause in my opinion it already has it all!!

This app is OK, but I like another free app called Point Inside better -- it includes coupons and store promos, plus it has an Android version so my hubby can use it on his geek phone, too.

Point Inside? Better than fastmall? Are you joking me?
I've tried both and I can tell you that point inside is just a crappy
app. That is free because it's obvious. And just drop some jpg
images and name them something like "smart maps"..?
FastMall is a pro experience. If you want pro. Go with fastmall.
If you just want to see a jpeg that is ugly and all the text pasted there is unreadable. Go with pi.

I downloaded fastmall after reading this article, sounded too cool!

I see fastmall has deals, coupons, sales at the Grove (my main shopping destination, which is so cool, I'll be testing it out later today when I go) a community section with video reviews and a whole section dedicated to remembering where I parked my car (in my case my pink motorcycle). So far I find fastmall to be the most comprehensive and well done app I've experienced on the iPhone. Nothing I've used comes close to these interactive turn by turn instructions this gives you and I laugh every time the phone shakes and bathroom icons fall from to the map location then take me to the bathroom turn by turn. I've shook my phone about 40 times and I haven't been to the grove yet!!! This app functionality and visual is so very cool. Kudos Melissa!
