Wear your heart on your shoe this Valentine’s Day

I’ve never been one for Valentine’s Day dressing; red hearts sewn onto sweatshirts and hearts pins with wings that flap when you pull the string are much better left in the Hallmark store, not on my (or anyone’s) body.

But when I came across these plush velvet loafers from Italian brand Arfango, my tune changed a little and I found the first Valentine’s-esque accessory that didn’t make me sick.

The loafers are sold as a set of three, one that says “Love” and the other two that say “You” or “Me.” Slip on the appropriate shoe depending on how generous you’re feeling with your affection.

They’re cute, but also pretty pricey -- so you may want to consider putting them in heavy rotation, meaning Valentine’s Day can happen way more than once a year.
