Michelle Monaghan’s one-shoulder gun-metal gown was complemented with strong makeup, full of shimmery metallic shades.

‘The eye shadow palette really set the tone for the whole look.’ says her make up artist Torsten Witte, who was inspired by her smoky, two-toned glass-beaded gown. He used Dior 5 Color eye shadows in Mystic Smokys on Monaghan’s eyes and layers of Dior Show mascara. Her cheeks were flushed with a color from Dior called Rose Brazilia.

Witte applied what he called ‘the perfect peach nude’ to Monaghan’s pout -- a gloss from Dior Addict in shade #001.

Monaghan took some Dior VIP blotting papers (designed by socialite and Dior Beauty Amabassador Tinsley Mortimer) in her evening clutch to use throughout the evening.

For someone who’s under the bright lights of camera bulbs as much as Mortimer, she should know first hand how to remedy a shiny forehead.
