Grammys beauty: Presenter Kaley Cuoco is golden in a sexy black dress

She may be a TV actress, but presenter Kaley Cuoco stood out among a sea of singers in a sexy Nicole Miller gown, complete with a plunging deep V neckline that rivals Jennifer Lopez's memorable green Versace gown.

Cuoco's makeup artist Spencer Barnes was inspired by the simple but sexy black dress to highlight her skin with gold and copper accents.

"I kept her skin beautiful and buttery with peach cheeks and a bronze glow," says Barnes, who used Armani Luminous Silk foundation along with Aqua foundation from Kohgendo -- a Japanese product especially for the unforgiving HD camera lens. For the bronze sheen, he applied Casino from Nars to her face and Deep Throat blush, also from Nars, to her cheeks.

A palette of coppery shimmers and browns was swept over her eyelids to add to the overall warmth of the look. 

"Because her dress was so low-cut, she wanted to keep hair and makeup simple, so it wouldn't look over the top," Barnes says. "We took a fresh, clean approach and kept things simple."

Good call.
