‘Glee’ may be the hottest show on TV, but the cast disappoints on the Golden Globes red carpet. Jayma Mays’ strapless black Badgley Mischka gown with a white crisscrossed bodice seems dated, as does Jessalyn Gilsig’s slinky gold strapless Pamela Roland gown with lace ruffles on the bottom. (They look like their characters on the show.) Cory Monteith’s shiny Hugo Boss suit isn’t much better. At least the rain should roll off.

Jane Lynch, whose Sue Sylvester uniform is a tracksuit, showed her softer side in an Ali Rahim halter gown in offbeat olive green, a perfect hue for her. Love the chic pockets. But Lea Michele played it safe in a black Oscar de la Renta gown with a huge crinoline skirt. Boo hoo.
