This fall, sequined clothing is coming into the light


There's no longer a need to shield your favorite shiny, sparkly sequins from the harsh light of day -- this fall, sequined clothing is making a glamorous appearance on everyday T-shirts, cardigans and tank tops.

In an article for our Image section, Times staff writer Melissa Magsaysay dishes about this new trend of sophisticated sequins, such as a sequin cardigan made by Coach and a Marc Jacobs bag decorated with glitzy beads.

And in the video above, Magsaysay walks through four sequined looks and how to make an outfit shine -- without turning it into a disco ball.
