Love your curly locks: Creators of Miss Jessie’s hair care come to L.A.

With my pin straight hair, I’ve never understood the gripes that come from my friends with voluminous, curly tendrils about their unruly and hard-to-tame hair. I love the unkempt look and romantic waves they have naturally, but after seeing all the curly-hair-specific products on a drugstore shelf, I realized it could be chore to get that perfect curl in place.

Well, good news for my curly-haired girls and guys: Miss Jessie’s is coming to town. Creators of the Brooklyn-based Miss Jessie’s line, Titi and Miko Branch, along with their team of stylists, will be at Wilshire Beauty this Sunday offering tips and product samples. The sisters and business partners have garnered a cult following of women who use their curly hair concoctions.

Also, a raffle will be held every hour to win the entire line of Miss Jessie’s products.
