Deals under $49: Kiehl's Acai Damage-Repairing Skincare Collection
Açaí, the Brazilian berry, touted as an antioxidant-laden superfood, is plopped in smoothies, tonics and -- now -- skin care.
If eaten, Açaí, which comes from a palm tree, has 10 to 30 times the antioxidants found in red wine and grapes, which include Vitamins A, C, E, Beta Carotene, Carotenids, Polyphenols. Flavinoids and Anthrocyanins. The berry also contains healthful monosaturated fats (similar to those found in olive oil) along with amino acids.

Kiehl’s found in consumer testing that Açaí’s antioxidant properties also work on skin by neutralizing free radicals from oxidizing and combating against signs of sun damage by reducing fine lines and wrinkles through tightening skin.
The Açaí Damage-Repairing Skincare Collection comes as a cleanser ($24.10), toning mist ($26) and moisturizer ($44) that are all paraben-free. The Açaí Damaging-Repairing Serum ($48) contains 10% of Açaí berry extract, the highest concentration of all the products.
And not that you would be tempted to dribble this skincare collection in your Robek’s smoothie but Kiehl's Açaí Damage-Repairing Skincare Collection is certified organic by Ecocert, a French company that certifies cosmetics.

I just moved to LA from Boston. I've been buying wonderful products from a small apothecary called atmosphere Beauty (www.atmospherebeauty.com) The fantastic friendly staff introducted me to a line of skincare called Caudalie. It is all made from grapes and contains antioxidant and works wonders for me. The vinoperfect collection makes my skin absolutely radiant. My favorite pick would be the Vinoperfect mask as it is around $42 and works instantly!
