Kate Gosselin trades in her signature hair flap for finger waves

Like it or not, people are fascinated by Kate Gosselin’s hair. So today when she emerged on to the set of ‘The View’ as guest host with a slightly new coif, everyone took notice.

Anything would have been an improvement from the hair flap/bang thing that hung over her one eye, but whatever the backstage hair team did makes all her layers flow together so they actually look like they belong on one head.

A colleague made the keen observation that Gosselin was even channeling Katherine Heigl a bit with her old Hollywood hairdo.

What do you think? Is this a major improvement? Or will Kate always have bad taste in hairstyles?
