‘Fashiontainment’ has reached a new level: Rodarte signs with William Morris Endeavor Entertainment

Seventh Avenue and the silver screen just got a little closer and we’re not talking about fashion-focused movies you would expect such as “The Devil Wears Prada” or “The September Issue.”

This time it’s the designers themselves tapping tinsel town for a bit of the big screen, as Rodarte recently signed with William Morris Endeavor Entertainment. The agency plans to “advise the label on opportunities in publishing, film and identify potential strategic partnerships and sponsorships,” according to a WME statement.

With projects including Aspen Fashion Week and Rio Summer (a South American beachwear showcase) William Morris Endeavor Entertainment clearly has its sights set on strategic fashion partnerships and events. And with its impressive talent roster, who knows what synergistic projects could be in the pipeline for the Mulleavy sisters? Designing costumes for Quentin Tarantino’s next movie, or a line of sunglasses with Kanye West?
