Last weekend, locals of Silver Lake, Echo Park and environs spilled out of the hills and onto a blocked-off stretch of Sunset Boulevard for the two-day Sunset Junction Street Festival. Most came to watch rock shows and witness a parade of their mostly Eastside-ish, under-40 peers not usually seen in the relatively pedestrian-free city.
