Celebrities' somber style at Michael Jackson tribute

Janet jackson black dress michael jackson memorial michael jackson fashion michael jackson style The celebrities who attended Michael Jackson’s memorial service dressed appropriately dark and simple for the somber occasion.  Brooke Shields wore a simple black shift dress, Kobe Bryant, Usher and Magic Johnson donned sharp black suits.  Janet Jackson looked amazing in classic pearls, a 1940s-inspired body-hugging dress and black beret slightly tilted on her head.

The one guest who seemed to wear what looked more like a Michael Jackson costume was Corey Feldman, who came in a military-style jacket, black fedora and dark sunglasses.  Maybe Feldman’s been dressing like this for years and this is normal for him? Who knows? We haven’t seen too much of him since his reality show “The Two Coreys” stopped airing on the A&E network.

Corey Feldman used to dress this way in the 90's, when he used to hang around with Michael and try to emulate him. His mode of dress at the memorial was a touching and appropriate tribute to his friend - Ms. Magsaysay's comments petty, mean-spirited, and worst of all for a reporter - uninformed.

LA Times, the name of the song is "Smile" not "Smiles". Do your homework.

I never knew I love MJ this Much.... The king of POP,a Kind in all, The good Samarithan that loves children..
Luv U MJ

I appreciate what Janet wore; simple, elegant, and respectful. She did not want to be the center of attention. Mama Jackson was very elegant too. Very classy ladies. May God comfort the family during their grief.

it was a simple ceremony, with celebrities not wanting to draw attention to themselves but to pay their respect to the King of Pop..
I do not know why,I have watched the Princess Diana's funeral service, and I do like the wonderful Princess..
But Michael's funeral was just so heartfelt and makes one to really miss the King of Music..the songs chosen and the eulogies were really touching..
it was a great one..
I love you Michael Jackson..
you were one of a kind, the special one that God chose to take home early..
you will really be missed..

My heart is in a thousand pieces. I love you Michael, I was born in 1958 too.....I just can't believe you are gone. God bless your family, I can't imagine what they are going through. Luh U

Simply beautiful!!!!! i've NEVER seen her look so down before.... i was already in tears watching the memorial but everytime the camera went 2 or passed her it just made the tears fall harder:) i luv u janet!!! u and your family will get through this.

p.s Paris's speech was amazing!!!!!! his children are beautiful!!!

Mike - I know it's been said a million times, but I'm your bigggest fan. I've seen you 12 times in concert. We are both the same age (July '58). The first time I saw you and your brothers was in NY's Madison Square Garden. When you sang "Who's Loving You" (still my fav song today) I was done and I was only 13 like you. I did not realize it then, just how deep and "knowing" you were. Your spirit and concern for the world and the people in it transcended. My children who are 27 and 18, know just as much about you as I do. :) Your music will always live in my heart as well as your "wonderful" spirit.
God's best in Jesus Name to your Family and especially your Lovely Children!!!
