The ultimate tween dream: Miley Cyrus, Max Azria and Wal-Mart partner to launch clothing line
Not since the Olsen twins’ merch first hit Wal-Mart shelves has the store been affiliated with such a dynamic design duo. Miley Cyrus is partnering with Max Azria to do a clothing line for Wal-Mart. The pop star is reaching to her “rock 'n' roll roots” and turning out a collection of tops, pants, T-shirts, shoes and accessories all priced under $20 and available in Wal-Mart stores in August.
Along with housing the teen star’s new line of clothing, Wal-Mart will sponsor the “Miley Cyrus Live in Concert” tour -- which makes sense since Cyrus is one of the store’s highest-selling recording artists.
The line will probably sell like crazy to tween girls who've worshiped Cyrus from her wigged days as Hannah Montana. They should start calling the place Miley-Mart.

And she owes it all to Daddy's 'Look'. Without Daddy's 'Look', no 1-time-hit Bill Ray Cyrus, no Hannah and .. no Miley.
The man does have the 'Look', doesn't he? He can change it on a dime. Grow the stubble out..just so so, part the hair in the middle and comb it back , earring, threads to match. Bingo. Change it around, clean shave except for maybe a slick little goaetee this time, hair stylishly down at the sides, sharp hat with New York City cloths, ..Bingo.. the "Look' . Need the stylish scruffy look, no problemo. Bingo again. Million dollar 'Look' and 29.95 talent. That's what sells.

A very sad day for Mr. Azria and his company. He's definitely lost me as a customer.

miley has always been a fan of azria’s work, it’s only appropriate for her to be tapped by the design giant. Afterall, she looked gorgeous in their products, e. g. when Miley donned that herve leger dress at the U.K. premiere of the hannah-montana-movie.

Does anyone know what kind of consideration Miley gets from a Walmart sponsorship? Is it mostly cash like the Olympics? Are we going to see Walmart ads at her concert? I was recently at a Jonas Brothers concert where Burger King was giving out samples of "apple fries." Is this type of marketing at concerts the future? I also got a free red bull from two cute girls in a red bull car.

Also, for Susan above: I'm sure Mr. Asria is losing sleep over his supposed loss of you as a customer. If he can only make $1,000 per 3000 Walmart stores = $3,000,000. $10,000 per store = $30,000,000. $20,000 per store = ...you get the idea.
