Soffer Ari: The jewelry and leather goods designer known for diamond-studded leather pants unveils his Beverly Hills flagship. Gift ideas for rock stars or rock star wannabe dads (Lenny Kravitz and Tommy Lee are fans) include gothic cross or fleur-de-lis silver money clips, key rings, bracelets, earrings and a ‘Los Angeles’ ring -- each less than $250.

H&M Thursday: The Westside and Inland Empire’s Victoria Gardens are the fast-fashion chain’s two new Southern California outposts. On Thursday, the Westside Pavilion location will offer the first 100 customers an H&M T-shirt and a shopping card valued at up to $250. One shopper will receive a ‘red carpet access pass’ for a sneak peek at the store before it officially opens to the public at noon. Seasonal looks, in stores now, include 1950s-inspired styles and floral prints featuring $24.90 detailed women’s blouses and $59.90 men’s tailored blazers.

Morgane Le Fay: The airy and romantic brand, founded 27 years ago in New York’s SoHo area, opens its second Westside location. The new Malibu store will carry an exclusive cotton-jersey knit line starting at $180, including a ‘Malibu’ short dress ($580).
