How to look good on and off paper

June 18, 2009 | 10:47 am

Job-hunt-300 On Sunday, The Times's Image section offered fashion advice for the workforce hopefuls. Whether you’re a recent grad or recently laid off, Emili Vesilind tells how to dress for job interviews in L.A., a city where black power suits need not apply. Melissa Magsaysay backs her up with tips for putting together an interview outfit that says "hire me," and lists grooming supplies that should always be on hand. (Listerine strips? Check.)

But for those still looking to get out of the human resources deleted-items Outlook folder, we'd like to remind you of our Business section's recent suggestions for crafting a killer resume and this list of resume do's and don'ts.

Are you on the prowl for a new gig? Share your job success (or horror) stories in our comments section.
