Christian Dior and Giorgio Armani, step aside: On Wednesday, the emerging designers of UCLA’s Fashion and Student Trends (FAST) flaunt their latest styles in the annual charity runway show “Unleashed.”

The student-run event benefits Food on Foot, which aids the homeless with donated clothing from attendees. More than 30 student models will strut their stuff in men’s and women’s pieces by 13 student designers.

And the talent pool is famously deep. FAST members have gone on to become successful jewelry designers (like FAST founder Azature Arthur Pogosian) and professional models (like Misa Chien, an “Unleashed” model and jewelry designer).

Don’t let this chance pass you by, because the next time you see these up-and-coming designers might be (who knows?) alongside Tim Gunn on ‘Project Runway.’

Ackerman Grand Ballroom (UCLA), 308 Westwood Plaza, Los Angeles. 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. This event is free with a clothing donation; RSVP required to ucfastla@ucla.edu.
