Buffalo Exchange, the consignment chain whose name itself suggests animals and recycling, is promoting both of those in a nod to Earth Day on April 22.

On April 25, all Buffalo Exchange shops (except Costa Mesa, which has theirs on April 19) will host a Dollar Day Sale. Certain new and used clothing will go for a buck, with proceeds from these items going to the Humane Society of the United States’ Save Whales-Not Whaling campaign, which enforces whale protection policies around the globe.

This is not the first partnership for the two groups. In fact, do-gooders who can’t wait to help can participate in their Coats for Cubs drive. Drop fur apparel at all Buffalo Exchanges by April 22 and the Humane Society will use it to provide ‘bedding and comfort’ for orphaned and injured wildlife. Those pelts you feel too guilty to wear could be just what a baby animal needs.
