Meghan McCain and the art of the political posterior pucker-up

Body image has been a hot topic lately, from the famous Tyra tirade to Jessica Simpson's mom jeans, so it's no surprise the Republican party isn't immune to a little cattiness when it comes to curves.

Over at our compatriot blog Top of the Ticket, Robin Abcarian  chronicles the recent discourse between Sen. John McCain's blogger daughter and Daily Beast contributor Meghan McCain and political commentators Ann Coulter and Laura Ingraham, the latter of which snarked that the 24-year-old was "too plus sized" to be cast on "The Real World" reality TV series.

Click through for all the tawdry details, but apparently the latest chapter includes Ms. McCain going all Tyra Banks on "The View" by referencing her choice words: "That's what I feel like right now: Kiss my fat ass!"

Funny, we know people who've been saying that to Coulter, Ingraham and their ilk for years.
