Uniqlo and Opening Ceremony team up for exclusive West Coast collection

February 6, 2009 | 11:20 am

Uniqlo men's collection for Opening Ceremony L.A Japanese cheap chic label Uniqlo has teamed up with Opening Uniqlo men's collection for Opening Ceremony L.A. Ceremony for a men’s spring/summer '09 collection that will be exclusive to Opening Ceremony’s West Coast boutique.

Until now, the closest we could find Uniqlo was at its department-store-sized space in downtown Manhattan.

The collection features wrinkle-free check shirts, linen cotton trousers, a full zip cardigan, and a shawl collar anorak in colors ranging from black to navy to orange and will hit Opening Ceremony next month. Prices range from $19-$79.

No word of a women’s line, but that won’t stop me from buying the small sizes from this collection and working them into my spring wardrobe — especially the wrinkle-free pieces.
