NEW YORK -- Constructivism was the inspiration word for fall at BCBG. Unfortunately, that translated into lots of tricky short dresses with complicated folds and patches, some with shibori dye details, and draped jersey gowns with sheen in a bad way. The molten gold tights were the highlight. I only wish they hadn’t been paired with those clodhopper heels. Can’t we retire the equine platform pumps already?
