Ann Coulter attacks Michelle Obama's style
Conservative dervish Ann Coulter -- a woman with a penchant for peroxide and very short little blac
k dresses -- has shredded Michelle Obama's style. The N.Y. Daily News reports that Coulter's upcoming book, "Guilty: Liberal 'Victims' and their Assault on America," includes this take on the future first lady's look:
Her obvious imitation of Jackie O's style - the flipped-under hair, the sleeveless A-line dresses, the short strands of fake pearls - would have been laughable if done by anyone other than a media-designated saint.
Clearly, Coulter forgets that fashion types love to titter and their resounding approval of Obama's distinctive look has nothing to do with party lines. And never mind that Obama has bravely worn lesser known designers like Thakoon and Narciso Rodriguez. The fact that Coulter goes on to applaud Cindy McCain's stiff and rather uninspired style only further disqualifies her as a fashion critic. But it would be fun to weigh in on GOP vs. liberal style. Anyone?

Fortunately for me, I can remember when my dad would have NOT let me go out with a friend who looked and acted like Ann Coulter -- and I would have respected his reasons. She's tacky -- in looks and behavior. Even as a Old South man, he would have respected Michelle Obama. That's enough for me.

Ann is totally right. Michelle looks horrible i almost everything she wears and has no originality as a first lady. She's completely dressing like Jackie O.

Ann who?
Are people really more concerned with the First Lady's wardrobe as opposed to the state of the economy?

Cindy McCain's style is not stiff - it's classic and refined. She always looks put together and beautiful. She dressed like a potential first lady.

LOL, Partisan fashion! If Mrs. Obama was a Republican, Coulter would be raving. Mrs. Cain's style, which is similar to Mrs Bush's, is seen as "classic" First Lady, yet Mrs Obama is compared to THE classic of of classic First Lady's Mrs. Kennedy. But really, the fashion DOES say it all: voters wanted someone with the youth and vitality of Kennedy, rather than the "same old same old" stylings of the Bushes. "Back to the future"....

Ann Coulter? You've got to be kidding me! While I don't think that Michelle Obama is the style icon that Jackie O was, she has way more class and sophistication than Coulter. I certainly wouldn't want my First Lady dressing as trashy as Coulter. Cindy McCain's clothes were beautiful, but then again, spending that much money on clothes anyone can look that put together. Michelle Obama looks great just the way she is.

Ann Coulter looks like she needs a sandwich..please someone feed her so her disposition will improve. I'm assuming she has nothing else nasty to say about Michelle...Ann is pathetic.

Give me a break! Both Michelle Obama and Cindy McCain dress well. The difference, Michelle Obama is gutsy enough NOT to wear something based on the label or price. While doing that she pulls it all together very well in a style that she makes all her own.

She is someone to listen to like Pee Wee Herman is funny. If you like Pee Wee Herman you take Culter seriously. Maybe her a Bill Maher should get married.

Conservative dervish? Style floggers language for evil person?
You creepy little people who elevate the absurdly unimportant using good ink and paper and/or the ether, should not even notice as base a person as Culter.

Really? Cindy McCain always looked like she was dipped in formaldehyde to me.

Michelle always seemed to me to have a look reminescent of a Jackie Kennedy, however, Michelle mostly seemed to wear clothes that fit her. That is clothes designed to use her natural beauty, so you notice Michelle Obama more so than the clothes where Cindy McCain always seemed to me to be trying to be a trendy 20 something clubbing queen, in other words, you were supposed to notice Cindy's clothes, but not Cindy. And looking at pictures of Coulter, she should be following those rules in that one book she professes to love so much, you know, the Bible? Rules like letting God judge others or let he without sin cast the first stone. Lord knows she has plenty of her own fasion faux paux's, but then again, why would she actually follow the character teachings in the Bible, that might be something a true Christian would do, as opposed to an opportunistic weasel.

Does it really matter what Ann Coulter thinks is fashionable for a first lady? Michelle's husband will be president in just a few days, and that is all that matters. And her fashion WILL be what is fashionable for a first lady because she WILL BE THE FIRST LADY, whether insignificant Coulter likes it or not. And that to Coulter, and all her fans is the bottomline. 'Nuff said.

Seriously though guys... who is Ann Coulter?

Ann has a way of turning liberal men into catty women, and liberal women into even cattier women. They've done nothing but attack her looks for years. But she was not attacking the future first lady. She was making a statement about how the media gushes over her clothes, while a Republican first lady would be skewered for daring to dress like Jackie O.
For the record, I think Michelle Obama dresses just fine.

Ann Coulter is really a man in drag. Seriously, Andrew Coulter was a nice guy who simply struggled with his identity. Now, his self-hatred is directed outward. It is an age-old story.

Is it just me or is Ann Colter an excellent indication of the fact that we need to repeal women's suffrage. like, right now.

I just read that Ann Coulter has been kicked off of NBC permanently. Like her-agree with her or not, any freedom loving individual should be appalled by this. Big Brother garbage.

We have a brilliant, beautiful, and stylish first lady to be. I admire her intelligence, her thoughtfulness, her opinions, and the family life which she presents to us in the First Family. Although I was never a fan of W(orst), he also had a beautiful, thoughtful, and stylish first lady. Sadly, Ann Coulter has nothing to recommend her other than her mean-girl mouth, and I outgrew an interest in that after ninth grade.
