"Twilight" red carpet: Get Kristen Stewart's look

83733491_2 At the "Twilight" premiere last night, star Kristen Stewart wanted a "rock-and-roll chic" look and we've got the goods --and techniques -- on how Dior Beauty makeup artist Monika Blunder achieved it.
Read and learn, people:

Eyes
: "I wanted to give the eyes a more rock 'n' roll feel so I used Dior Waterproof Crayon Eyeliner in Trinidad Black to draw a line on both the top and bottom lash line and smudged the pencil, drawing in the crease to add definition. Then, I used the Dior 5-ColourP224725_hero Eyeshadow palette in Twilight, applying blue in the lower crease and the lighter gray in the inner corner of the upper und lower lash line to define the eye. Finally, I curled the lashes and finished off the look with about three applications of DiorShow83732329_2 Mascara."

1021203_sw Cheeks: "DiorBlush #829. I love this blush because it has two functions: one
to add color and second to add glow. This shade is a lovely soft pink that
is so pretty on the skin."

Lips: I completed the look with Dior Addict High-Shine Lipstick #260, a
lovely light rose. Then I topped it off with a little Dior Addict
Ultra-Gloss Reflect in #137.

Blender's weapons for making makeup stay on all night are: a primer, a waterprooof mascara and a lipstick with a long-lasting formula. (I can attest to the fact that there are now lipsticks that will stay on in a tsunami.)

If you ever want to know every detail -- the gloss, the dress and more -- of a recent red carpet look, e-mail me at monica.corcoran@latimes.com and I'll post the lowdown. As  I like to say:  It's not magic,
it's makeup.
