Sarah Palin Cabbage Patch Kid selling for almost $10,000; Obama version at $3,050

6a6d_12_3 Want to snuggle with Sarah Palin? You're not alone.

On EBay, in an auction to benefit Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, a Cabbage Patch Kid version of the V.P. candidate is already at $9, 600 -- with 22 hours to go and 88 bids. The signature frameless glasses and librarian bun are well rendered, though the clunky black pumps and all-red suit seem less inspired.

Is that all $150,000 buys at Saks these days?

Meanwhile, the Barack Obama doll in a dark suit, blue tie and86f3_2 black wingtips is trailing at $3,050 -- with 73 bids. John McCain is decidedly less cuddly and valuable to doll collectors, selling for $1,700. But it's poor V.P. candidate Joe Biden who had better keep his day job because he will never make it as a Cabbage Patch Kid -- his likeness, with chubby cheeks and strange toupee-like hair is at a mere $843 -- with just 43 bids.
