What does it take to land a spot on 'Project Runway'?

Cs1435933 Can you cut patterns? Great. Handy with a needle and thread? Superb. Think you're a cross between Yves Saint Laurent and Vivienne Westwood, with a sprinkle of Stella McCartney? Right on. But what the producers of "Project Runway" really want to know -- according to the application to be a contestant on the show -- is this: "When was the last time you lost your temper?" (In other words, please tell us that you threw your pinking shears and shrieked like a ferret on fire.)

The application for "Project Runway" aspirants is posted here, and the deadline is Wednesday. You must include a virtual lookbook and a personal video journal. Oh, and do tell them about the "last time you cried" and "what bothers you most about other people." (Um, I am always sobbing on the inside.)

Note to contenders: If past victors are any indication, be sure to include your catchphrase ("Hot tranny mess!") and cultivate a signature hairstyle that defies gravity.
