'Sex and the City': Who will die?

It's been leaked that one of the stars of the forthcoming "Sex and the City" movie must say "Ciao for now" and be buried in her best Manolos. Yes, alas, one of the women will die in the movie--so wear waterproof mascara. Clearly, the Rage would never gloat over the premature passing of anyone, but, hey, who do think should go? (You can rationalize this evil prognosticating with the fact that it is only a movie, right?)
Most bets are on Samantha because she has already battled cancer on the series--but a relapse would be almost too expected. Cynical Miranda seems like the one most likely to want to perish in a fiery bus collision. Then again, she has a kid and Hollywood hates to kill a mother.  Charlotte--ever the Pollyanna--would go out with a Waspy whimper.  Would anyone mourn?

The Rage thinks it has to be Carrie who must bid adieu to her shoe collection and gold lame hot pants for good.  This movie needs to make us cry harder than "Terms of Endearment" and "Beaches" combined. Hence, the Rage predicts that Carrie will either fall down a manhole as she rushes to meet the girls for brunch or asphyxiate herself with a Fendi boa.

Care to wager on which vixen will meet her maker?

My money would be on Samantha. Not because she had cancer so much as Kim Cattrall was the sole hold out when it came to salary negotiations. Hollywood revenge is swift and thorough she opined ominously.

Think about it for a minute. Who's always the first to die in the horror movies? Who's always the first to die in disaster movies, monster movies, survival movies, war movies and other sundry picked-off-one-by-one movies?

In this case, it would be the Jennifer Hudson character if anyone. Aside from Hollywood’s habit of treating black characters like they are expendable, does any one really think for one single, solitary minute that the money grubbers in Hollywood would kill a money churning character like one of the sluts of SATC?

Paleeese. Something about Cynthia Nixon's "slip" reeks. Personally, I don't care if the whole cast dies in a Manola Blahnik warehouse fire. I won't be going. Watching SJP playing cute at 42 makes my stomach roil.

I willl also share a catty secret with the Rage. I enjoyed seeing SJP voted the unsexiest woman in the world. I've never seen an actress more full of her own cuteness and convinced of her own sex appeal than SJP. She’s just so darned pleased with herself! I've just never been a fan of the iddy, biddy, sqeaky, little girl types. I've always been convinced that it was no accident that her male leads are usually towering giants. Watching her play this gig at 42 will be just too much

I HATE to see death breaking up the girls....I have loved this show for years and years and watch all the re-runs over and over again. I guess I could 'live' without Charlotte or Samantha the easiest....but I love Miranda and Carrie, Big and Steve.....................I am seeing the movie with my GRANDAUGHTER...during opening week...
so I am no KID! I am crying already....I love 'storybook' endings. There is enough sadness in the world already...why in a movie? I love happy endings..not necessarily realistic ones. Realistic, I can find in the newspaper every day!!

Personally, I hope NONE of them Die. And what is the big deal with SJP playing the part at 42...New Era, New World, and the 40's are our new 30's and she looks damn good for her age, and so do the rest of the girls....I congratulate them all, for keeping themselves up, that is the business they are in...they have to REPRESENT !! More Power to Them. Bring on the Movie!! I'll be there for sure!! You know what is great about SJP...she may not be the "sexiest" or for that matter she may not be the most beautiful in the eyes of some...but her personality makes her shine and makes her beautiful!.

It just might be big, Carrie has dreamed of this day, and for him to die before they get married, sounds like a story line, or it could be that he will die after they get married.

Samantha, is too predictable, but she did hold the movie from being made, due to money, so she might no want to do this again, with her dying, they won't need to include her if another movie were made.

The joke's on the movie-going public. No one dies!! It's just a great marketing tool to get you to see the most boring chick flick ever made. Next episode: Manola designs colostomy bags and pampers for SATC women. Plus, they get a AARP discount on Trojan condoms!

I love SJP. She is my favorite of the girls. I also love her offscreen. She is such a classy, beautiful, successful woman. I applaud her!! She's absolutely FABULOUS! Anyone who doesn't think that has obviously not given her the time of day or seen the show enough to know any better. She may not be the typical beauty, but she does have stunning features, gorgeous eyes and hair, and HELLO! her sense of style is incredible. The world takes its fashion cues from this very show, and especially her. As for the movie, I am dying to see it tomorrow! If Carrie doesn't end up with Big, I will be beyond pissed. There is no way they will kill off one of the fab four girls or Big. If they kill off anyone, my bet is on Stanford. He is a big part of the show and one of Carrie's good friends, but most of us could take him or leave him and he doesn't play a pivotal part in the plot. I'm hoping for a happy ending! I think I can speak for many of us in saying that we need closure for Big and Carrie!! And besides, she can't end up an old maid!

I think Carrie ends up pregnant, that's why the leisurely "wanna get married" line and the baby doesn't make it. That would "devastate" her. My bet is on a miscarriage or Stanford!!! Can't see them killing off any of the other major characters & the death of one of the "supporting" characters really wouldn't devastate her.
