Miley Cyrus gets a crummy allowance for a billionaire teen

Veruca_salt1Today, People reports that Miley Cyrus is the richest teenager in the world. By year's end, this 15-year-old will be a billionaire. But how much allowance does she get from her parents? A measly $300 per month. Apparently, it has been reported that Cyrus has no personal credit cards either.  Total bummer.
According to a study by Teenage Research Unlimited, 11% of teens aged 12 to 19 have their own credit cards. A 12 year old with a Visa? Priceless. An additional 10% have access to a parent's card too. Another finding revealed that 61% of teens know how to write a check, but only 41% can balance a checkbook. Um, the Rage doesn't know how to make the numbers line up either. Fourteen percent of teens -- according to a 2006 study by the Charles Schwab Foundation -- owe more than $1,000 in debt.
Hey kids, maybe Miley can help you pay it off!

How much monthly allowance should a 15-year-old receive? Especially, if she screams: "I want it now, Daddy! Get me that golden goose!"

Three hundred dollars for a $15.00 year old is more than I got... at ANY time! What does she need more than that for? To buy drugs? Her parents are doing the right thing. Hopefully, she'll avoid what the other teen celebs are going through.

$300 a month is totally fine. Hello, remember Britney?

She works -- and works hard! Does she get access to the money that she earns by working?

Great parents! I commend them for teaching her the value of money and setting a good example for others.
God Bless them always and I pray she stays the way she is.

There's still plenty of time for her to become a crack horror Britney and Lohan

why does anyone give a crap about the kid of some horrible country/pop washout and how much money she does or doesn't have?

Destiny Hope, Miley Cyrus or what ever she's call these days is currently at the top of the tween world, THE A-list celeb for the under 20. What does she actually have to pay for? Like other big name celebs, she gets more free stuff thrown at her than most people will earn in their lifetime.

yeah. that's nice. i expect that. what i am more interested in is:
1) how much do her parents get for "managing" her career
2) how is her money invested?

miley just thing of all those pour people hwo don,t even have a home so I would just be very thank ful that you got 300$ because that would alot for them.

not fair miley! you deserve more =)
really you do
and I do think that you had the right to buy that 11,000 dollar bag with your OWN money! really you work so hard and are like 16 so you deserve at least...
like 1000 a week or something!
i mean i get 10 dollars but hey you have 1 billion so you should get to spend some of that
if you got 1000 a week it would only be 52000 a year which really isnt that bad in comparison to how much you have!

rock on miley! and shop till you drop
<3 Naz

I Think That Miley Gets Enough Money, More Than What Most People Get. Im From England And I Have A Job, But Not One As Good As Miley's. I Babysit For 8 Pounds A Week. And That Is Like What?? £32 A Month? And That Lasts Me. Because The Stuff That She Buys Is Silly Lke Expensive Clothes! Who Cares About Weather She is Wearing Gucci Or Whatever? It Does Not Matter.. I Think Her Allowance Should Be Put Down A Biit 300 Dollars Is Too Much For Our Age.
But Miley You Are So Cool... But Just Dont Let Fame And Money Get To Your Head..
