Zooey Deschanel has knees. No more black tights

Zooey Deschanel has always ranked high in my opinion for her style. She favors vintage frocks, makes silly faces, and sings in a band that covers old Andrew Sisters hits. She's got all the makings of a style icon. And up until a few nights ago, the starlet was never spotted on the red carpet without her trusty black tights. Sometimes, they were as opaque as opera curtains; other pairs were sheer and offered a glimpse of a dimpled knee.

Her reticence to go bare and show off those gams made people suspicious. The Fug Girls relentlessly called her out for her reliance on hosiery. Other merciless fashion lieutenants wondered if her legs were scarred from a fire (in her lap?) or mottled with varicose veins.

Apparently not, folks. Turns out Deschanel was just self-conscious about her legs. Is that such a crime? And apparently, she has overcome her anatomical anxiety because she was spotted just a few nights ago wearing nude hose. She may have just barely pulled off the black tights with this red dress, but it looks so much better with a bottom half that matches the top.

The key to wearing black tights with a dress is to be sure that you're similarly shrouded from the midriff up. Meaning, a plunging neckline that points to a pair of black tights is like a river that bottoms out in a ditch.  A jumper with a black turtleneck works perfectly with tights. It's all about the silhouette.

black tights look fabulous with everything she pairs them with. personally, i would rather wear a pair of tights then you bare legged, it adds to the indie-yet-elegant appeal.

The only reason why the Fug Girls have been so relentless in calling out Ms. Deschanel in regards to her wearing tights so much is because they are jealous that her legs would look ten times better than those xtra large beef logs they call legs, even if her legs were lined with vericose veins. Hosiery or not, Zooey Deschanel is one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood today and she most definately has some of the most beautiful legs, no matter how she chooses to display them. As for the Fug Girls. Ladies, chew on one anothers legs so you can keep both your mouths and hands busy.

We Gentlemen are so happy to see Women wearing Hosiery again. Smooth Tights and Silky Pantyhose on a great pair of Legs~ Even if we are too shy to admit to it at 1st, we adore you Ladies in such alluring Hosiery.
The bare legged/flip-flops/brittany followers look is finally too obvious and thus OVER! Thank God.
It is the more intelligent Girls that know what good looks, sexy and Fashion actually is (not what m.t.v. tells you it is).

I Would presonally deal with those horrid thick Black Opaque Tights she keeps on wearing...cut them up for rags.
