PETA bleeds stupidity

46ed63ac42kc Page Six today reports that Kim Cattrall doesn't want blood on her hands for wearing all those furs and carrying skins (thanks to designer Nancy Gonzalez) in the new "Sex and the City" movie. OK, a girl has to make a living. But wouldn't Cattrall be moreHomeless1 effective if she refused to wear fur or carry an exotic skin bag in her role as Samantha? Even worse, the item says that Cattrall -- who is "adamantly against fur" -- will donate all the luxury merchandise back to PETA after the shoot.

What will they do with it? PETA will mark the furs and skins with a red X and give them to homeless people. Is there anything more absurd and degrading than making indigent folks wear some sort of sucky scarlet letter? Will a lizard skin blazer really keep a guy on the street warm? How stupid, hypocritical and humiliating.

Ingrid Newkirk is pretty sick. PETA says eating animals is like the Holocaust - ethically humans should have evolved to the point of recognizing animals as analogous to people.

Yet whenever a dog gets sick, they take it out back and kill the damn thing. I hope they don't treat grandma like they treat their beloved and tasty animals.

If Ingrid Newkirk and PETA could ever prove they really care for the animals they say they really care about, I'd be sending them money this Christmas. I might not even mind that they appear to be a bit eccentric.
But look what they want: people should not keep animals as pets, there should be no farm animals , no animals in zoos or circuses, no racehorses, no Olympic equestrian events , no animals should be consumed , no dogs or cats should be bred, or exhibited , no birds in cages or fish in tanks. No turkey on Thanksgiving, or prime rib on Christmas. Guess they'd let us have the Yorkshire pudding, though.

LA Times: PLEASE ask your PETA celebrities why they support PETA, when PETA supports the Earth Liberation Front (ELF), named as one of the most dangerous domestic terrorist organizations in the US.
