Dyan Cannon remembers Robert Culp

Dyan Cannon, who played Alice opposite Elliott Gould's Ted in "Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice," the 1969 movie about two upper middle-class Los Angeles couples dealing with the idea of sexual freedom, offered her thoughts on Robert Culp, who played Bob opposite Natalie Wood's Carol (shown in this YouTube clip).

Culp died Wednesday morning at age 79.

"I'm so saddened to hear of Bob's passing," Cannon said in an e-mail to Times reporter Valerie J. Nelson Wednesday evening. "Still so vibrant and funny and charming ... filled with a terrific zest for Life ... (and by the way ... still 'hunky'). We will all miss him!"
