Memories of James Mitchell

Reader Andrew Masset e-mailed about the death of "All My Children" actor James Mitchell:

Back in 1978 I took a movement class from Mr. Mitchell in Los Angeles. He was a gracious man and at that time he told me he was waiting to hear from AMC if he got the role he auditioned for earlier.

Like all actors, he was anxious to hear from the show's producers. I told him I thought he would get it and wished him luck. He smiled and said, "I hope you're right."

Needless to say, I was right (lucky guess) and the rest is history.

Rest in peace.

You can find Mitchell's obituary here.
