A Christmas special starring the King family, the extended version of a Swing-era vocal group known as the King sisters, had started playing on public television stations in late November. Yvonne King Burch, one of the singing King sisters, died Sunday. She was 89.

The special has aired in Los Angeles and is scheduled to play again on Christmas morning at 9 on KOCE, the PBS station based in Huntington Beach.
