Comedian, game show host Ken Ober found dead in Santa Monica

Comedian Ken Ober, 52, host of the MTV game show ‘Remote Control’ in the 1980s, was found dead Sunday at his home in Santa Monica, his agent Mark Measures said Monday. The cause was not known.

Ober, who got his break on ‘Star Search’ in 1984, had most recently been working as a producer on the TV series ‘The New Adventures of Old Christine’ and ‘Mind of Mencia.’
