Keith Thursby has been an editor at The Times since 1986, working in Sports, Metro, Orange County and News Design before joining the Obituaries staff. He lives in Irvine with his wife, a freelance writer, and their two sons. He also contributes to two other Times blogs, The Daily Mirror and Angels Unplugged.
